What Cypress offers

Every trip. Built from scratch.

Cypress doesn't offer packages. There's no catalogue, no preset itinerary, no "most popular" option. Every trip starts with a conversation and ends with something you couldn't have built alone.

Three areas of focus. One standard across all of them: nothing generic. Ever.

Alpine & Mountain Escapes

For the ones who need elevation to think clearly.

It's a route that takes three connections and a mule track, a lodge with rooms above the treeline, a guide who's been walking the same ridge for twenty years.

Cypress Travel plans mountain escapes for people who want to feel the weight of the altitude — not just photograph it from a cable car. The effort is part of the point. We handle every logistical detail so the only thing you have to do is show up and climb.

From the Alps to the Dolomites to the Himalayas to Patagonia. If there's a ridgeline worth reaching, we know how to get you there.

Wild & Secluded
Stays

The cabin with no address. The lodge that doesn't advertise.

Some places don't show up in search results. They're found through contacts, word of mouth, and the kind of obsessive research that most people don't have the time — or the network — for.

Cypress Travel finds them. Off-grid cabins. Remote eco-lodges. Properties with one window facing something extraordinary and no Wi-Fi by design. Places that exist specifically to make you forget everything else.

This offer is for travelers who want stillness, not stimulation. Who measure a trip's success by how long it took to decompress, not how many stops they hit.

What's included

+ Sourcing of rare, off-market, and off-grid properties
+ Full access and arrival logistics handled end-to-end
+ Activity and excursion options curated to the location
+ Dietary, accessibility, and comfort preferences built in
+ On-trip support throughout the stay

Best for

+ Travelers who want total disconnection
+ Couples and solo stays focused on rest and nature
+ Anyone who's tried to find places like this and failed
+ Weekend escapes to extended retreats

Cold-Weather
Journeys

Aurora hunts. Frozen crossings. The kind of cold that resets everything.

Cold-weather travel is a different beast. Logistics are harder, windows are narrow, and the wrong decision — wrong camp, wrong date, wrong guide — means missing the thing entirely.

Cypress Travel plans cold-weather journeys the way they need to be planned: obsessively. We know when the ice is right, which outfitter actually delivers, and where to stay so the northern lights wake you up, not the other way around.

Iceland. Northern Norway. Finnish Lapland. The Yukon. Greenland. Destinations where the season matters as much as the place.

What's included

+ Seasonal timing strategy and optimal window planning
+ Vetted cold-weather outfitters, guides, and camps
+ Equipment and preparation guidance pre-departure
+ Full itinerary with contingency planning built in
+ On-trip support and real-time adjustments if needed

Best for

+ Aurora and winter light seekers
+ Dog sledding, snowshoeing, ice-fishing expeditions
+ Travelers who've always wanted to go but didn't know where to start
+ Trips from 5 to 14 days

The process is simple.
The planning isn't.

Step 1

The inquiry

Fill out the inquiry form. No pressure, no commitment. Just tell me where you've been dreaming of going — or tell me you have no idea and let's start from there.

Step 2

The call

A focused 30-minute conversation. Not about logistics yet — about how you actually travel. What you need. What you don't. What a perfect day looks like for you.

Step 3

The research

This is where the work happens. I disappear for a few days and come back with a full proposal: destinations, lodges, routes, timing — all justified, all chosen with intention.

Step 4

The trip

Once you're happy with the plan, everything gets locked in. You receive a full itinerary and pre-departure brief. Then you go and I remain reachable throughout.

Investment

Transparent pricing.
No surprises.

Cypress charges a flat planning fee based on trip length and complexity. Travel expenses — accommodation, transfers, guides, and activities — are quoted separately and depend entirely on your destination, travel style, and the length of your trip. Every cost is presented clearly before anything is confirmed.

Up to 7 days

custom quote

Travel expenses — flights, accommodation, guides, transfers, activities — are separate and quoted as part of your custom proposal. Sloane works transparently: you see every cost, every recommendation, every reason before anything is booked.

I gave a vague brief and got a trip I couldn't have built on my own in a hundred hours of searching.

Every camp, every crossing, every early morning — chosen with a precision I didn't know to ask for. It was exactly the trip I didn't know I needed.

— Sarah K., 14-day mountain crossing

We told Sloane we wanted to disappear for two weeks.

No itinerary pressure, no tourist crowds, no decisions to make. What we got was the most intentional trip we've ever taken. Every morning felt earned.

— James & Réa, 12-day Iceland & Faroe Islands

I'd been putting off this trip for three years because I didn't know where to start.

Sloane asked me four questions and came back with something I wouldn't have found in three years of searching. I stopped overthinking it and just went.

Questions
& Answers

The things people usually ask first.

Do you book the travel, or just plan it?

Both. I handle the full picture — research, itinerary, bookings, transfers, and coordination. You receive a complete, ready-to-go plan. Nothing left for you to chase down.

What if I don't know where I want to go?

That's a perfectly good starting point. Tell me how you want to feel at the end of it — exhausted in the best way, completely still, off the grid — and I'll build from there.

How far in advance should I reach out?

For complex or remote trips, 3 to 6 months ahead is ideal — some lodges and guides book out fast. That said, I've pulled together tight timelines before. Reach out and I'll tell you what's possible.

What does the planning fee cover exactly?

The research, the itinerary design, all coordination and bookings, a pre-departure brief, and on-trip availability if something comes up. Travel expenses — flights, accommodation, guides — are separate and quoted transparently as part of your proposal.

Can you plan trips to any destination?

Cypress specializes in wild, remote, and cold-weather destinations — mountains, off-grid stays, northern journeys. If your dream trip falls outside that world, I will be straight with you about whether I'm the right fit.

Is there a minimum trip length or budget?

Cypress is built for trips that deserve serious planning. If you're looking for a weekend city break, this probably isn't the right fit. If you're looking for something that takes real research to get right — that's exactly what I'm here for.

Have a trip
in mind?

Tell me where you want to go — or that you have absolutely no idea. Either is a perfectly good starting point.
