Sloane knew the industry... and that's why she left it.
Before Cypress, Sloane spent years inside one of the big tour operators. She saw how the machine worked. The same properties recycled season after season. Itineraries built for volume, not for the person actually going.
It wasn't the travel that was the problem.
It was what the industry had done to it.
Sloane had always been the one researching the detour nobody takes. The trail that adds a day but changes everything. The lodge with eight rooms and a host who's been there for thirty years. She did it for herself first — then realized she could do it for others.
So she left. Built Cypress Agency from scratch. One client at a time, one obsessively researched itinerary at a time.
